Danielle Marie Fusco is a dancer, teacher and a choreographer. She was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She started pre-professional training at Nassau County BOCES Cultural Arts Center in Syosset, now known as LI School of the Arts and was a high school dance major. Danielle attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia for a year, then left to do fit modeling for Ellesse active wear, dance teaching, and various choreographic projects for corporate events and small cabaret/dinner theatre events. In that year, she worked with Maxx productions and choreographed high end magic shows, performed “Winter Wonderland” for the Korean-American Association and Kraft. Danielle went back to school to finish up her B.A in Dance with a concentration in Dance Education at Marymount Manhattan College. (Nancy Lushington, Pam Levy-Arauz, Anthony Ferro, Lone K. Larsen, Geoffrey Doig-Marx, Katie Langan, Elena Commendador, Lyn Glauber, Kristina Berger) Danielle also performed in Peter Kyle’s original piece called “Serenade”. She currently teaches and choreographs for 3 LI studios. She is an active dance member of Expressions of Grace Dance Company (EOG). She also has worked with Elise Knudson and Theresa Kochis in an environmental dance project at the United Nations for the Arts and Science Collaboration, ran by Cynthia Pannucci (ASCI). Danielle has collaborated works with a NYS 4201 School, St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf in the Bronx, NY and started “The Silent Dance Movement” for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Danielle was a resident choreographer at Richard R Green HS Dance Department in NYC where she choreographed “Quadrivium”. She was mentored by one of NY State’s renowned dancer/educators, whom collaborated the NYC Blueprint Standards for Dance Education, Judi Mark. Danielle is an independent altier dancer at the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance. (Penny Frank, Denise Vaile, Lone K. Larsen, Kevin Predemore, Virgine Mecene, Armgard von Bardeleben, Marni Thomas) Alongside learning the Graham technique and repertory, she performed “The Eleventh Hour” choreographed by Whitney Hunter at the Martha Graham Winter Collection. Danielle is still dancing at Martha Graham, but also works independently with various choreographers. Most recently, she is a cast member for the new off-Broadway dance drama “GOGO Killers!” written by Sean Gill and directed by Rachel Klein. She also has performed at the La Mama Moves International Dance Festival
